Please read before answering the poll. ( not like anyone wouldn't read a longish looking post before taking the poll :approve: )
I know that Runescape (not classic) doesn't work on a PDA. Well besides running a remote connection(vnc viewer), which is too slow to really do anything productive.
Unless someone can get Jagex to release a mobile version of the game, specifically coded to run on mobile devices, I doubt that we will ever be able to truely play runescape anywheres. Not too fun lugging my dell i9300 around everywhere.
I got a crazy idea to try and drum up support for having Jagex make a mobile version. I have sent them a short msg to point them here to this forum to see how many people might want to play Runescape on a PDA.
Please post in thread after you vote and include your PDA model and OS ( gonna try to do a running total in pocket excel to track the PDA / OS stats. ) Also feel free to leave comments or suggestions.

the only thing stopping someone from playing runescape on a ppc is the fact that there is a lack of java support, since all runescape is, is a java appalet all you would need is functioning java. ppc's meet the rquirements other than that so unless you talk jagex into creating a client for an otherwise web based game you'd just have to wait until java works better.
hisse is right. Runescape is simply a Java applet. Jagex should not have to make a new version, but it might become necessary to have a direct link to the applet.

I thought about that option... but would everything work right with the portrait mode... or landscape mode. input using the stylus. figured that if they make a seperate one, it might help issues like that...
or just recode the game using the java thats available on PPC's.
how long is it gonna take to get real java on PPC? my guess is years.
by then they will have Elder scrolls 5 ppc, and who would need runescape. :)
