Xbox bt gamepad?

Im bored and im still not liking how my x50 plays games.

has anyone tried this yet to see if it works with the chainplus bt profile?

With any luck could find it http://search.ebay.com/search/search...rclo=&saprchi= ~$20 shipped

I guess I could go on the hunt for the gamepad again but this method would probably be cheaper.

Yeah, im not quite sure where it belongs but I think its more of a game related thing than anything.

I've got the chainpus but no Xbox. I can't help. Besides I finally saw the Xbox 360 in person and I wouldn't want any other console. ;)

oH HAHA I assume you got to see a nice working one. I went to target and there was some kid hogging it. The next time I went the box was crashed and frozen.

Im just hoping it would be a nice simple substitute that will be cheaper and easier to find. I know that controller is averaging $40-$50 but its a bit much for some light gaming and NES emulators lol.

And with the size of the xbox controllers, I will take a dremel to it and make it fit my x50... well hopefully someone will have one. If not maybe I will visit a Xbox forum and hope someone there knows.

there was a thread where a member took his chainpus apart and planned to make a new casing that would fit an X50v. I lost interest though, I'm not sure how it turned out.

Nope, it wont work. I contacted the company at least 6 months ago and they said that they had designed the controler from the ground up to be compatable only with the XBOX. They had no intentions to port drivers to the PPC. Sorry.

Well I've heard the Xbox 360 can send email to your WM Pocket PC when your friends are playing online. How far away can compatible bt controller profiles be?

Now I havent checked for 360 controllers. Might be fun to see how those wireless ones connect... was it bluetooth thats compatable with PCs? Or was that wired that works on PCs.. hrmm.

Oh well, time to search for a good deal on the BT gamepad.
I saw one for sale on the classified page for $40 tempting, but that was over a month ago. The seller probably gave up.
On second thought... a chainplus controller would make me look waay too geeky lool

I love my Chainpus controller, and it has more than enough buttons for most every game! Well worth the money. It doesn't make me look more geeky, in fact more people want to play with it than just stare at it. :D
