The Best Euchre Card Game for Pocket PC
I love euchre. This game is a great time waster on long trips. It uses barely any juice since it is a small app. Even though its a small app, has many options. Don't know if the menus are wm2005 compatible. But the rest of you, have a cool game of euchre. By the way heres the link.

I like DreamQuest's Euchre game. Heck, I have a few of their other card games, too. While they're not freebies, they are excellent. The graphics are sweet. What's really cool is that they have an internet "lobby" and you can find games to join. I have a link to their site in my View MyPDA section if you're interested

dont forget about TrickHand Euchre from us(Birdsoft). The Freeware game is pretty darn good. But euchre is a partners game, and if your partner hoses you all the time and doesnt play good euchre in situations, well then it plays a lil frustrating...

My experience has been that Pocket Euchre's engine is not that great as Birdie referenced. It is a decent time waster and the price is right, yes, but the partner's play even on expert mode can be annoying. Pocket Euchre does have a play face-up feature that is nice for training. If you're a Euchre addict, I'd recommend trying Birdsoft or DreamQuest.
DreamQuest was very good, but there was never anyone in the lobby! At least not for euchre. Lots of Spades players there. Not like Yahoo on the PC where there are thousands on line at a time. I'd settle for 10 or 12 on DreamQuest, but never saw it. Birdsoft has an excellent logic engine. If you've seen the work they've put into All In Hold 'Em, you know what I mean. I never played enough of DreamQuest to say one way or the other, but it seems pretty good. If by "best," you mean it is free, then you are correct. But, if you mean that it has the most realistic and logical strategy, then I beg to differ.

Just wondering if the Birdsoft version does either of those things? I mention those two items because I had a game for a Palm handheld I had some years ago which did both. I can't even find the game any more (much less remember what it was called), so even emulating Palm on my Axim isn't much of an option. The freebie suffices in a pinch, but I probably play less often because of those frustrating items.
