How to do SNES games

EDIT: Rather than make a new thread, can someone possibly tell me why that I can't get sound in my games when using Morphgear? I tried to mess with the settings but nothing. Thanks again.

Hi, I don't like to ask such simple questions when I could search, but I am having trouble. I have tried to search for the answer, but with no luck. I have the x51v and I want to play SNES and NES roms on it. I downloaded and installed morphgear onto my axim, but when I try to load a game it gives me an error saying that it occured because of a memory issue. I am just wondering what the best emulator would be for my x51v to do SNES and NES games. Thank you.

Get this one It can read roms out of zip files! No need to unzip. :)

that didn't work for me..it gave me an error message after i loaded the game and then it froze on me :(

also, all that link you sent me was a .exe file which i put onto my axim and then opened it, loaded the game then it crashed

strange, but i clicked on lemmings and it loaded perfectly through morphgear and other games work with it now too... maybe it required a restart but it works now..thanks for the help though!

So.... this (PocketSNES-1.12.200-ARM.zip) plays all SNES roms ?

Maybe your probs are with the wm2005 os itself.

neither this version or the new version posted are working for me. any help please?

the snes program loads up but as soon as I try to load a ROM, it goes to the opening slash screen and crashes. if I tap the screen it opens PIE and loads the www.pocketnes.com page

I'm with wm2003se and an x50v

just tried installing the picard gapi tweak and still no go.

so to recap:

Lemmings2
Street Fighter Alpha2
NinjaGaiden Trilogy

program still freezes with the following splash screen
Version 1.12.201
Talas OpenGL ES build 01-27-05
Based on Snew9x (1.39)
PocketSNES BLEEDING EDGE

no clue what went wrong.

I used to have no problems with it, but just lately (after i installed the newest version) i have the same problem... just hangs at the start screen when loading a rom

I've run a nes emulator no problem, i had issues with morph gear. It's called Nester4u i think, it has a bigger brother by the same company. It's worked perfectly with the ROMS i've tried. It's free too.... It can be found on pdarcade
