Age of Empires if ActiveSync is broken?

I would really love to purchase Age of Empires for my Dell, but I can't get ActiveSync to work, and I don't need advice on that to work. I have tried everything already and it don't work. Does Age of Empires come with the files I need to install it without ActiveSync(I have a compact flash and I can just tfer from my computer to the dell)?

You can purchase AOE retail from your local compusa like I did. It comes on an SD card.

I don't believe the download has a .cab file available - just the .exe file, which requires you to download to your PC and install using ActiveSync. The only work around would be what Tancerman suggested - buy a retail version on an SD card.

Never mind I have found out that infact you can do it as long as you have a memory card. Just install it and after it fails to install go to the install file and it has the necessary files.
