Question Overclocking Help - - -

Hi, I think that I'm allowed to put this in this thread because it involves overclocking gaming but anyhow...

Does anyone know of any FREE overclocking apps that would let me play emulations faster?? I have a X50 520mhz (wm 2003 se)...

If there arent any free apps, do you know of any good ones that you have to pay for... Thanks, Swim100flyy

I use Pocket Hack Master for my iMate Jam. It has an Intel 416 Mhz processor and i usually over-clock it to 546Mhz.

Info:

I haven't tested it on my x51v, although i don't see the need to over clock it :P.

I heard of one a while back, but I can't remember what it is. I use XCPUScalar and Pocket Hack Master.
Best Regards,

PHM is the only good CPU controller. XCPUScalar only works when your device is connected to external power.
The developers of XCPUScalar said it themselfs. I also bought XCPUScalar but it didn't work (due to the above mentioned reason).
If you want a good CPU controller, get PHM from Anton Tomov.
I don't think there is any free application available atm.

Maybe this is an X51 issue? I use XCPUScalar all the time while it's on battery power. I also keep my Windows Mobile power setting @ Maximum Power, and not scale mode.

Maybe what he means is that you shouldn't be overclocking your pda when on battery, due to quick power drain.
