Morphgear/Emulation - problems/questions

I downloaded the PPC 2003 Version of morphgear as it was hte newest I could find. It seems to run okay - but I have some weird screen image problems, like overlapping text on the setup, and really tiny graphics.

Is there a way to fix this?

Also what are the best modules, I installed the SNES 9X add-in and it seems to run well, but even when I turn on soudn I don't hear anything.

It sounds like its hating your true vga or that GAPI hack. You are running a x50v right?

Get the gapi 2.0 tweak in the x50 page and set the thing back to qvga.

I think that should work.

I now have two questions:

1) What is this GAPI tweak I keep hearing of, and if it requires me to go to QVGA I don't want it.

2) I heard PocketNester has a VGA version that runs really well -can someone point me in the direction of it?

1) Currently, I was recently told Me and Emulamer's Gapi Tweak is not X51v compatible. We hope to release a new version when we get the time. As for QVGA, it means only Morphgear not your handheld, all you have to do is hack it to not be Hi-Res Aware. Check out Emulamer's 4th post:

2) Here's a bunch a cool stuff, including PocketNester VGA:

1) I downloaded and installed PocketNester VGA - it opens fine, but it won't find the games (.nes) on my CF card - It finds the CF card and the folder, but it doesn't find the games - when I go to the CF card and click the game, it opens Nester, but doesn't do anything.

2) So, just to make sure I understand correctly, No current version of morphgear really works with WMF in VGA mode? And if thats true is there expected to be an update soon to support VGA in WM5?

Questions upon questions, you're a very curious little guy eh !

1)PocketNester reads zipped files, I'm not sure of just .nes files... but that theory is probably wrong. You must either place the nes files into CF Card/My Documents/Nes Games or CF Card/Nes Files. Just make sure you place your roms/games into the Nes Folder (you must create this "Nes Folder" your self by creating a new folder renamed with that name)!!
2)We are still planning to release a WM5 version of Morphgear, Bluetrane has the skills to do so but "Real Life" is currently holding him back to work on/ release an update. I'm also out of the loop with a bricked Pocket PC, which will be fixed later this month by a good friend of mine who is sending me a gift (thanx Josh_AxeY !) We shall see what the future brings my friend entailing Morphgear!

Now the reason for this could be very simple...
What rom are you trying to load up? Don't give me a link to it, just TELL me what it is. Pocket Nester may just not be able to play that region of the game or type. Below i will explain:

Pocket Nester may be able to play certain (U) region roms and some it can't. Thats when you grab an (E) or a similiar region rom that can be understood by your language. Now Types are usually if the zipped (not rared) rom is either .nes or .bin, some are recognized and some are vice- versa (one game is .bin recognized but the .nes isn't recognized). Another Type is beta overdumps (a1,a2, etc.) or roms with headers (h1, h2, etc.) Pocket Nester is picky with it's roms/games, which ones of the same game that works is for you to find out !
