help with everquest episode 1!

I need help from someone about episode 1, I am on the mission to get a griffon feather for majesto, and it says "temple of spectres" somewhere on the name, so I'm figuring that it has something to do with going into the temple of spectres on the Oasis of Marr, but I cant get in there because it is "magically locked"....:rolling: please help me!

You have to go to the West Commonlands for the griffon feather. The griffon is on the west side.

I checked the whole west commonlands, and there is no griffon there, can you be a little more specific as to where exactly the griffon is? any pics of maps maybe? Are you sure that its in the WEST commonlands, maybe not the normal commonlands?

I am mostly sure ;). Have you found the hermit yet? I was heading over in his direction and the griffon attacked me.
