games. ebay, favorites, and other newbie questions
Hi all. I'm new to the pocket pc world. I just inherited a x5 and i've been entering contacts, ebooks, music, etc like a mad man, so now it's time to get serious and play some games. my questions are:
1. are the game CDs for pocket pc's on ebay worth trying out? or are they like one good game and then a bunch of crappy ones?
2. What are some of your favorite games to play on the pocket pc?
3. Where would be a good place to find them?
Any newbie gaming advice would be greatly appreciated. Next, i'll try and tackle WiFi :rolling:

 Aximsite.
Personally speaking, I wouldn't mess with the CDs on ebay, but that's just me. Of course I have plenty of games to keep my occupied already - check out my View MyPDA section over to the left :) I haven't updated the list in a LONG time, but it will give you some ideas. Lots of games have demos available so you can try them out before you plunk down your $$. Astraware, Clickgamer, eSoftInteractive and PDA Mill all have some really great games. What type of games are you looking for?

Thanks for the info Cheryl. I'm looking for a variety of games...action, board games, arcade, etc. i'll try some of those demo games and see what i like. thanks for the websites. so do you store most of them on CF card and play from there? I saw your list of games and figured you must.

I install everything I can to my CF card. Even so, I think I only average about 20MB free in my main memory. I just have too much stuff installed :hide:

I wouldn't buy any game CD's off Ebay, use the excellent site's Cheryl recommended, and View MYPDA for All Free Games(no Demo's) and Apps, as well as links to other member's MYPDA's like Cheryls, also check out the official Free Game list sticky from member swimflyy in this thread:approve:

Holler if you need anymore game suggestions. I haven't updated my View MyPDA section in a while and have some new additions.
