New Atomic Cannon beta

I just noticed that Isotope244 has posted a new Atomic Cannon Pocket beta on their website (that supports VGA under WM5). Link for info and demo here.

To get my full version (since I registered it already) I just changed the link from my serial number request email from Atomic-Cannon-PPC.exe to Atomic-Cannon-PPC-Beta.exe and that worked (though no official word from I244 has hit their announcement lists regarding this as of this posting).

I'm not sure what else has changed in the new beta.

I received it from the developer in an e-mail the other day. It seems to work pretty well though the projectiles and explosions tend to render a little more slowly. Otherwise, it seems to run great on my X51v.

Thanks for posting this To answer some questions about the update:

Yes projectiles are a little more slow, not because they render slower though, because the animation speed was slowed down so you can more easily see the awesome effects You can change the update speed of the game now in the settings.

To see all the changes in the update view this doc http://www.isotope244.com/games/acp/changelog.txt

Also a comment about Acky's XP Breakout, I am working on the WM5/VGA update for it right now, it will support all devices, square screens, and much more. I noticed Menneisyys really hits on music in his reviews, the music in Acky's XP Breakout was done by true 'scene' artists and one of the tracks was actually voted the best trance track in 2003 in Netherlands I believe, or something along those lines.

If you havn't checked out Atomic Battle Dragons, my latest game, the music in it is the best yet I think, I worked really closely with the musician and came up with some tracks that really support the game and theme well.
