I am studying MS VB05 right now, so if you can give me any tips or need some help on something I would be glad to help(or try).

Yes you do - you can use the savefiles from the desktop version of AoE I, but you need the executable and maybe data files which were compiled for the PocketPC, and are available from software stores like PocketGear and Handango.

Because your PPC runs on another type of processor (and other different hardware) you cannot run x86 compiled programes, because your device is not x86 compatible. That's the main reason why you can't run x86 programs on a Mac neither...

I found a demo http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fi...pocket-pc.html so you can try and see if it's worth the money. As far as I know, there is no emulator, but I might be wrong, however I think Age Of Empires makes use of DirectX calls, which won't be supported on PPC.

There is an opensource variant of Civilization, so If you have a lot of time and know how to program, you might port it to PPC... http://www.freeciv.org/index.php/Freeciv

I don't have any experience porting things to the PPC. Thanks any way.
