I loved D2. It is the only real game on my laptop so when I go somewhere I always play it on the plane.

What do you consider to be really fast???!!!!! A PPC can barely emulate the PS1 at full speed. IF you consider a good speed of 5-6fps, then your missing out.

A PS1 is what we need, and you said it could go at full speed. That means diablo if I could find a PS emulator.

The problem is that the emulator will take a lot of CPU cycles just to run... and we've not even loaded the GAME yet, which is another... 400-600MB per CD on top. I don't know how well any PocketPCs right now will run such emulated games.

Try Google using "PS1 Emulator PocketPC". The problem is that I doubt you could play Diablo 2, or even Final Fantasy VII, at anywhere near a playable speed on even a 624MHz XScale processor. Anyways, I only recall Diablo hitting PS1, if my memory hasn't completely failed... not Diablo 2.

You guys may be both sad and happy but for about 10 bucks you all can have Diablo on your PPC. I got the emulator running and as soon as the CD finishing ripping the diablo files I will be playing(I wish I could get them to rip. I am having trouble, make a reply if you can help me or I will post when I do it). You will need these links:
http://www.fpsece.net/
http://eccregen.cjb.net
CDMage 1.02.1 Beta 5(google this)+
EDIT: The 10$ is for buying a old copy of diablo for PS. EB games is cheap.
