These files and a execlent step by step tutorial is avaliable right here: http://pdai.org/~dk/guide/ldrguide.htm

I had trouble installing PSM Play and if any one else has the problem of missing WNASPI32.DLL it can be downloaded free here: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dl...shtml?wnaspi32
Are you playing this on WM 5.0 or 2003? I didn't think FPSE-CE worked with WM 5.0 yet.

Check the first post. In my final/revised conclusion I say that I am playing on my dad's IPAQ.

I am studying MS VB05 right now, so if you can give me any tips or need some help on something I would be glad to help(or try).

Two questions...

1. How small were you able to get the iso after ripping everything?

2. How is it running for you? It's like a slideshow on my x50v regardless of frameskipping setting. Definetely not playable at the moment. Suggestions?

Yup, using 1.1 with the driver set to 2700g mode because Xscale mode crashes FPSEce.

I think it just might be one of those games that just emulates slow. I have other games like GTA and Megaman x4 that run at 99% full speed with sound. I guess it really just depends on the game.

Diablo is running plenty fine for me. I am not sure what is wrong.

I had the same problem, and it was the way I ripped the ISO. What method are you using? I'll break mine down for you tomrrow to see if it helps.

So is there a definitive guide for getting this on PPC for FPSEce? It sounds like a specific ripping method... I too have tried unsuccessfully in the past...

Ohhhh man! I <3 diablo. My diablo 1 disk is MIA at the moment though, if it works as well as you say I may actually go buy another!

-How does it control? Is it awkward at all to use the stylus?

-Screenies?

Diablo I ripped - but still including all the language packs - to about 338 Megs, with CDRWin and PocketISO (v. 2.1) method. Default settings didn't work, but with only turning on "use smallest video as source" in PocketISO it works fine now...
Anxiouslly awaiting FPSEce 0.10 now, due out within a month - hopefully! VERY hopefully! Diablo at near or full speed, in my pocket - a major milestone for a retrogamer!
