I completely agree with pmcizhere on this issue. When THPS2 was being developed, even the LCD screen on the PDA didn't always look impressive. Filming the screen with half blurs between frames at differing resolutions only worsens the problems.

However, as soon as we started to take screenshots of THPS2, I crapped my pants. In fact, I even spent five minutes to make sure I didn't accidentally find a .bmp file from a desktop PC build because the screenshots looked too good.

Basically, don't judge CoD2 on the quality of the video resolution. The video simply proves the game is real and gives you a sample of the gameplay. The quality of the graphics looks much better in person.
