Anyone tryout Quake on the Axim...I find it astounding that PPC's have the capability of playing FPS.

How are the graphics? Frame rate, Controlability???

Gives one something to do during those long committee meetings.

I looked at the PQ2 forum a few hours ago

Frame rates seem to be 3-5 fps - in theory - if you could make it work which appears to be an exercise in frustration. Have not looked at PQ1.

Also - in all of the readmes - it appears as if a few pda's have been permanently destroyed trying to run Pocket Quake.

The only way it could harm a PPC that can't be fixed by a hard reset, is making the user made and he throws it across the room! It might kill all your programs and data, but it can't physically harm your PPC (well maybe if you tried overclocking your PPC to get it to run).

I've got PQ1 to run fine... seems smooth too (400mgz)

But when I went to change to side view mode... I need to hit the enter key..... where's the "enter" key ??

The side view will make this alot better... but I cant get past this screen to play it futher in this mode.
