Would like to install games on my daughters PPC (acer n10)

she has no cable so i'm looking for freeware games that install via cab files, that way i can move the cabs to her ppc via cf card.

can anyone suggest cab install games suitable for 7 year old girl?

Just about any program you get for the Pocket PC has a CAB file you can "grab" if you know what you're doing. If you start the installation for a PPC program using an EXE installer, there will be a CAB file on your PC in the Program Files\Microsoft Activesync or Program Files\softwarecompanyname folder. Copy that CAB file from that folder onto your CF card and cancel the install.

As for good games, you can find Pac Man on one of the freeware sites such as pocketpcfreewares.com or freewarepocketpc.com. I'd look it up for you now but those sites are blocked by my office firewall :(

Try freecabs.de or pocketpcfreeware.com If you are stuck with a installer you can PM me and I will extract the CAB file and email it to you. I have seen a few games like FaceMaker(freecab.de) and some other stuff like checkers/chess(if she can handle it) and some other little board games.
