I wonder if it will be able to import the same maps that were used on the PC version? Probably not, but you never know. I think I've still got some floppies around somewhere with my old maps on them.....course then there's that problem of not having put a floppy drive when I built this PC. :)

Most likely you will. Pocket Doom & Pocket Quake use the original .wad game files, with a different front-end to rework the GUI.

I don't know about that, at least not yet. This guy has this disclaimer on his page...
I've received many e-mails concerning a beta-test of my Duke3d port. Thanks for your interest in my work, but I don't need any tester at this time : The games runs slowly, and it stills many bugs I need to work on, in order to give you a try. And the game doesn't run by a simple "duke3d.exe" launcher. So I need to work a bit more to give you an alpha version. I hope it will be available (alpha-stage test) next week, first fir MIPS machines, and a friend will give me an ARM machine (Ipaq) to try the game. So the ARM version should be available too. For people who can"t wait ;-) I'll post an ingame video Sunday. So you'll see how the game runs slowly... But many improvements are needed; It takes time but I hope it will be playable soon.
Thanks for your interest in Duke3D PPC !!! DUKE NUKEM FOREVER :!!!
Cool.....Can't wait to see the vids, even if it is slow right now.
