Well, now it works. I didn't do anything different. I just installed it again and it runs fine. Oh, well. I guess I just need to do a re-install on anything new before I consider it to be a problem.

Another type of 'breakout' game is Ricochet. The trial version is 25 levels plus 3 degrees of difficulty. Great graphics and special effects.
Try it for another hour!

:approve: This game has been around for awhile, but newbies should try it. It's based on an old arcade game 'Q-bert'(not sure of the spelling).
Great graphics and audio, plus great way to WASTE time.
