Sorry for the slow response, I was rather busy lately.
Where do I set those?
Start Pocket HackMaster, go to Speed Configuration, tap'n'hold and then select Filter->Generic->Extended. (Don't worry, this might take some time )
Then tap CPU column-label to sort speeds by CPU speed and go to 702MHz. It's the only 702MHz speed here, so you can't miss it... Test it and then tap and hold it, click Favorite->Set. Then click close and "tada!" you're done! The configuration will appear in "Set Device Speed" menu.
At least for me, this new version seems to be incompatible with the game save states of the previous "unofficial" x50v-compatible version. Luckily, I was just just about to finish a game. Another nice fix is that the you don't have to go into a sub-menu anymore to exit the program.
Speed is very good, though sound is a bit too low quality to leave active. I'm on WM5 so there is no way for me to even think about 32MB games. Some sort of memory-paging system is needed like some emulators on the xbox.
The x51 with out the dedicated graphics can get up to 40 mb's or free ram, I have 35 mb's on mine! Sometimes I really love that x51 low!

Ahhh........ I keep on doing manual :)
P.S. I think 300 mhz cpu and 300 mhz bus works really well.

Hi folks.
Long time no see ey? ;) But once again, here we are with new version of PocketGBA.
New features:
- supports ZIPped cartridges(roms)
- supports Intel 2700g accelerator
- all drawing modes
- onscreen buttons are visible
- added ARM assem. code for GBA's BIOS functions:
- 0x0B: CPU Set
- 0x0C: CPU Fast Set
After a LOT of struggling with non-answering mail addresses (nominating products is FAR harder than most people would think - I've spent quite a lot of time nominating new stuff), some good news for you all: PocketGBA has been nominated in the "Game Emulators" category in the Smartphone & Pocket PC Best Software Awards 2006.
I'm really impressed by the speed of PGBA. I can finally play Golden Sun on my axim! There is one bug, however, that prevents me from enabling the 2700g support. If a notification pops up during gameplay, or anything takes focus from PGBA, the screen goes wonky and I have to soft reset! Also if PGBA crashes, battery saves from the current run are not kept.

Well, it kept bugging me too, but I know how to fix it :) When the "Main Battery is Low or Main Battery is Critical or any other" pop-up pops out, the screen indeed goes all messy and you can't do a thing. Solution? Simply turn off and on the device (with the power button) and then (if you have taskbar) switch to PocketGBA and everything's exactly in the state you left it. If you don't have taskbar, simply locate the exe and run it, the process (pocketgba.exe) will get the focus back on.
Simple :)
Any other questions? I'll gladly help you with all your troubles with PocketGBA.
P.S.: Our traffic limit is a 1GB per day. Judging by the "overloaded" state of our site when new version was released, I can say that you folks enjoy PocketGBA quite a lot lol :)
I'm using an x51v. Just downloaded the newest pocketGBA version, loving it so far, although some games aren't working. I'm finding it hard to free up 32MB's, but it can be done if I shut down all of my today screen plug-ins, set my background back to default, shut down any running programs, soft reset and then run freeRAM in pocket mechanic. Clearly, this is a bit time-consuming. Any one know if there is some way to set different configs, something like: Normal use: auto processor, all today plugins running, etc. Gaming use: Max processor, no today plugins, and maybe map these to hardware buttons or something like that? Anyone else found a way to do this? Thanks.
Dave
Very very good emulator!! but there's a way to return to main menu from game with this emulator? thanks :)
Doesn't tapping on the game-screen work?
