Mad Yamece

Help needed with Yamece

1) I experimented with reassigning d-pad functions and now I can change back so games are not controllable (works ok with hardware buttons) - could it be linked to axim d-pad patch?

2) If I can't reassign d-pad functions - how do you restore Yamece to default? Have tried reinstalling but changes are not over written. I guess there must be a config file somewhere but can't locate it.

3) Does Yamece emulate the pc-engine?

Thanks for any help.:crooked:

1) It's not the D-Pad patch, it's a bug in YameCE with reassigning keys.

2) I'm trying to remember how to dot that, I remember I had to.
Ah, my very post asking for help:http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...ghlight=yamece

Select 'uninstall' from the file menu (you'll have to change the language setting back to English afterwards)

3) If I remember right the PC Engine is the European name for the TurboGraphix, which YameCE emulates.

Thanks that worked!

I haven't managed to get pc-engine/turbo graphics games to run under Yamece. Is it worth perservering? Do the games run at a decent speed? If so, do you know which country they should be from?

PS. If you have any explainations for the menus (I have worked out most of the basic functions) then these would be very helpful. It seems to be a very fast emualtor for NES and GB.

PCEngine (a.k.a TurboGraFX16) RULES !!!!!!!!
It was an awesome console, very cheap for its specs, and with LOTS and LOTS of fantastic games....Too bad it didnt do so well as it deserved (had to do with the limited supply, I think).....

Anyway, get PocketEngine or MorphGear (both are free for FX16) and you wont regret it!!!!! PocketEngine is a bit faster than MorphGear, but then again it cannt run as many games as Morph can (and then, neither can run the latest SGX games). Most games need to run at 1/2 or 1/3 frames, but they are completely playable, and with awesome sound too :D

I have an SD card devoted to TurboGraFX16 ;)
