Sweet! I almost want a PSP now. Too bad it doesn't take SD cards.

ya, i hate that it doesn't take SD, stupid Memory Stick Duo

The only issue is that the newer PSPs cannot play homebrew (which this is). Or the selection of homebrew they can play is limited. I am going to try it tonight on my 2.6 PSP (limited homebrew support) and see if it will work:)

EDIT/UPDATE:
Ok, I am not going to even try I guess:

Quote:
* There is no savegame support.
* There is no audio support.
* Not all the N64 controls can be used.
* Large roms (i.e. over 8MB) cannot be loaded.
* Many roms won't boot.
* Many roms have serious graphical glitches.
* Many roms have random lockups and crashes.
* Most roms run at a low framerate.
Sounds like there is not much there, and it is almost impossible to find any good roms under 8mb

Well, just a tip: Super Mario 64 is only about 7MB:approve: .

I tried this emu and there really are not many graphical glichtes or any other problems in Super Mario 64. It's only real problem is the framerate, that keeps being around 7 FPS.

But OpenSource means that somebody could port it to Pocket PC. It would be very interesting if it even could run 8MB ROMS.

I would love for this to be ported to the PocketPC...But man what a chore to do so. But then we would have both Playstation 1 and N64... *Drool*

There has already been a release of this that can now load any size roms or at least attempt to do this. Also textures have been improved alot. I have been trying this out on my Psp and I think it has serious potential. You will also want to keep a serious eye on Psmonkeys N64 emulator developments because this one was not a port so may well end up being better who knows.
