Best Game Boy games for Axim

Hello. I've just installed PocketGnuboy and I'm really impressed at how well it works on my old X5 . I'm currently playing Dragon Warrior III. Can anybody suggest any other games worth trying? I prefer RPG and adventure games. Thanks.

Have you tried PocketGBA? I can get very close to 100% speed with sound on, and well over 100% with no sound...
As far as good Gameboy (Advance) games, I like the Sonic, Mario, and Crash Bandicoot series. Very fun, plenty of playability!

Dragon Warrior III is a very neat game, you will also like I & II

You might also like this games:
Zelda: A link to the Past DX, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages
Pokemon Blue
Dragon Warrior Monsters 1 and 2
Final Fantasy Adventures (which is really Sword of Mana 1!)
Final Fantasy Legend II (which is really Romancing SaGa 2!)
Metal Walker
Suvival Kids (sort of slow at first but then gets really good!)

not in the genre but also worth playing:
Cannon Fodder (strategy, very very good!)
Metal Gear Solid
Mario Golf
Mario Tennis
Snoopy Tennis
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
Toki Tori (a very cool puzzle game with a chicken)
Mickey's Speedway USA
Disney's The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Wild Adventure
Looney Tunes Collector: Alert!

Nanoloop (you must really like music to try this one, if you do, this will be one of your favorites... its a sequencer for gbc!)

I'll post some others if I remember....

Thanks for those replies.

pmcizhere: I'll give PocketGBA another go. I tried it a few weeks ago and the roms didn't work. But I'll try again with the games you suggest and see how it goes. I've only got an X5 so maybe that's too slow.

Frannyman: Thanks for your suggestions. Snoopy Tennis sounds like fun . And I'll try the others especially Dragon Warrior I and II and Survival Kids .

What do people think of Harvest Moon? I read that it was good but I think you're a farmer which sounds really boring.

Thanks again for your replies and it looks like I'll have to buy a bigger card :)

Where is the best place to get these games? Are they free? And the most important question: are they compatible with x51v?

I love Harvest Moon, I forgot to include it. try the first one (color version) or the second one, the third gets too much away from what makes the game cool, wich is the farming. It's a classic, capitalism in it purest state! you plant your crops, raise your chickens, milk your cows and buy buy buy! make your house bigger, buy upgrades... it gets really complex and fun! you'll start thinking about crops and seasons and that you just can't go to sleep without the weather forecast... I highly recomend it!

Other games I forgot to include:

RPG's:
Azure Dreams (very good RPG game)
Lufia: Legend Returns
Star Ocean: Blue Esphere (if you are lucky enough to find a patch)

Other:
Metroid 2
Super Mario Land 2
Wario Land 1, 2 and 3
Kirby's Dream Land 2
Kirby's Block Ball (cool arkanoid clone with kirby's powers)
Kirby's Pinball
Pokemon Pinball
Mr. Driller (very addictive)
Mario's Picross (very addictive)
Megaman X 1 and 2
R-Type DX
Kid Icarus 2
Game and Watch Gallery 3

And yeah, that's pretty much it to me... I doubt I recall any other really worth playing, but if I do, I'll add it... ok, now you have enough to be bussy for like half a year or so...

RPG: Sword of Mana

I used to play Secret of Mana for SNES and its my fav RPG. Sword of mana is the exact same style(woot), so its a lot of fun. WIth the new version of PocketGBA it plays really well!

As somebody else said, Wario Land 1 is great. It feels like Mario 64 but in 2d. Lots of moves and really nice levels.

Lego Star Wars is fun, and it plays a lot like the PC/XBOX versions.

SNES:
Lufia II:Rise of the Sinistrals
(It appears as though the makers of Dragon Warrior 3 made Lufia II. Lufia II is in a class of its own. As good as Final Fantasy III and Suikoden II IMHO.
