Are there any good games that are similar to Civilization? I used to play the dos version ages ago and found it a fantastic/evil time waster. Great Airplane fodder, etc.

Anyone know of similar games for the PPC?

I have been thoroughly enjoying Age of Empires, which was also out around the same time as Civ.

Go to Handango, they have a demo (the full version costs $30, but is well worth it).

The PPC has only Age of Empires and The expansion The Rise of Rome. I have for the big computer Age of Empires, Rise of Rome, Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, The Conqouers Expansion, Age of Mythology, and The Titans expansion. I might get AOE:III. I am debating it.

Are there any other games that play as well as AOE for the PPC? I had one that was pretty close that I borrowed from a friend at work once, but can't remember the name of it. It was the space one where you had to build facilities and sefend or attack the opposing side. Those two are the only onse I've found that seemed to be any good.
BTW, where did you pick up the rise of rome expansion pack? I'd never heard of it before.

Artentum: This is war
Warfare Inc.

I have both of these and they are both pretty good. Warfare Inc. you can play multiplayer withsome else with bluetooth.
Artentum is great. I play it more and think it's more fun.
They both I think only have 10-15 missions. But you can play downloadable custom maps and stuff for a quick game.
I think there is 2 or 3 more like these. I can't remember them right now.

I (will) like pocket heroes. It isn't finished yet, but the alpha looks very good.
