THE COMPETITION: Nokia's big mobile gaming move
Multiplayer games are one of the 'killer apps' of mobile devices. Nokia, the biggest competitor to Microsoft and Pocket PC's, seems to have understood this.
FierceGameBiz has just published an article on the latest developments. The article (which is available here) is definitely worth a read if you want to know what Pocket PC gaming should be like. I also recommend the Definitive Multiplayer PPC Game Roundup and the Games category in my blog for an overview of the currently available Pocket PC-based multiplayer games and techniques so that you can see what multiplayer games are available for the Pocket PC. The question arises: will Pocket PC developers follow suit? They should! | |||||||
