check out xwords. It's a pretty good scrabble clone. You can download different dictionaries that will change the difficulty of the game.
PocketGBA, the game boy emu. Great if you know how to get a hold of roms.
Kevtris a Tetris clone. It's pretty good and all of these are free.
There is a sticky with alot of free games links on the top of this forum.

Not a good place to be. I really feel for you and hope it is all over soon. Hang in there and have a look at "Bejeweled", I find it pretty addictive.l

Resco Diamonds (just like bejeweled) ... excellent time waster!
Atomic Cannon - my favorite

I'd love to make some touching comment about your situation ... but I have no idea what you and your family must be going through - stay strong - one day I hope everyone figures out that all the violence just isn't worth it.

Well.. your comment is touching enough thank you for wishing us the best..
it's not very nice condition as we had "Katyusha" Rockets 50 meter from out house.. not very nice condition indeed.. but as i said.. we're (unfortunatly) used to it... for 30 or even 40 years... every few months..

I feel for you. I suggest games like Age of Empires and Sim City, they can be long and are easy to get into. Try out Quake, and Sean O'Connors Pocket games. All of those are good and easy to spend longer times playing.

Oh I dunno if the game i'm gonna suggest works on new pdas but Argentum is a good real-time strategy, also pocketnester (its a nintendo emulator, its great if u can get roms, look for kirby, or mario), or lemonade tycoon. However a game really worth playing to releive stress is worms world party, its a fun turn based game you can play with the family.

Goodluck and I really hope things calm down for you.

Oh, that sux. Hopefully things can better soon. This is already affecting gas prices here in the us. I was watching fox news today. Oil is around $75 or so and they expect it could reach $100.

Anyway back to subject, check out the sites in my sig and other people have good suggestions too. Hope all goes well over there.

d3bugg3r,

Well, I was going to suggest Age of Empires, but something tells me that a game about civilizations not co-existing might be a little too real for you right now??? Atomic Cannon has long been one of my favorites and I will also second whoever it was that recommended whirlwind, a small but very addictive card game. Also, I am a huge fan of Suduko, and there are tons of them around.

Stay safe. I have spent time in Israel (many moons ago) and it is definately a beautiful country. Let us know how things are over there. We'll keep your family in our thoughts.

Doug

I would try Air Islands to take your mind off of the shelling (It's a non-warfare oriented game.)

Hope you and your family are ok. Hatzlocha.
