This is incorrect, a myth that has been passed around. Some legalists say that roms are legal if you own the cartridge, others (like Nintendo and their lawyers) say it isn't. But they both agree that if you don't own the cartridge it is illegal to have the rom, 24 hours or not.

can anyone tell me if they have been able to get pocket snes to work on their x51v?
The program loads and I am able to choose a game, but then it just freezes. lt worked fine on my x50 but not my 51.

I don't remember. I removed it. I think also the ROMs where causing a problem of the speed. I found an AMAZING NES Emulator. It plays all games at full speed. I'm about to make a thread about it.
