I am leaving this Saturday(22nd-26th) for a trip to georgia. I might be on the net down there, mabie. Any way, it is a long drive, and I won't be driving down there the entire way, so I was looking for some ideas on some good Snes roms, and other good games. Freeware preferred as always! I would like good ideas for SNES roms more then anything though. Thank you guys!

mmmh, it´s hard to find good and legal roms. So I´m also interested in your sugestions.

Super Mario all-stars is a good idea IMHO. roms are only legal if you own the original cartridge, if not you must delete thim in 24 hours. pocket quake & enigmo is 2 good games too. (enigmo only works on x50/1v)

I would stay away from action games like Mario Bros. Anything with a lot of precise jumping and landing is too hard on the axim.

Stick with racing games like Mario Kart, or RPG games like Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger. Puzzle games like tetris would prolly work well too.

Mario Bros 3 is my all time fav and it is extremely difficult to beat the easiest of levels.

I found most of what I needed (aside from my collection of ROMS) just from google. Put in the title and .rom. Like "SNES mario 3 .rom". Normally works.

Once you find a good site with several listed, just bookmark it and get what you need.

Mario Allstars is great fun (I've not tried it on my Ax), but it runs great on my macbook... I forgot how much I enjoyed the Mario series.

After that, really any final fight / capcom/ etc type games should run well too and be playable.

I'll be leaving for Georgia myself in a couple of days. Taking the train, so I'll need to kill time. Let me know if you find any good games. BTW which emulator do you use?

LOL, not sure. It is a old old version. It is not the fastest but it reads everything fine.

BOOGERMAN is a good snes game.. you use booger, burp and fart as your weapon:) . COOL GAME!

All works beautifully with the emulator found on page 4

I can offer a good site with snes\gba roms! but remember if you dont have the cartrige - you must delete rom within 24 hours :-)

but it is a russian site so anyone can some troubles reading descriptions...but the good thing in that site it has in each roms lots varieties and it is not advertisment! for example - the original game comes only in Japan - but in this site you can find also translated version..
