Hello guys...Here I wanna share my little knowledge about playable\unplayble emulators :-D

GBA:

The fastest emulator for x51v is /PocketAdvance/ current version 0.5 very playable =)

SNES:

PocketSnes different versions work differently...have not found any playable...
Morphgear - lots of options - but slow in gba and snes... unplayable

PSX:

the only emulator for this FPSeCE
I dont know how have it others but on "destruction derby 2" i had only 15-18 fps in game..So better to wait newer versions..

Has anyone to add to my topic? Maybe good SNES emulator or a solution to FPSECE?

do a search on this forum and you will find a tweaked version especially built to take advantage of the 2700G processor !!! :approve:

Hi,
if you are searching for a Snes emulator ,please try THIS one for me,
it is based on PocketSnes ,i've translate it for my smartphone (orange c600), it is optimized for low processor but in fact it works very well on ppc too....
i need someone to test it on VGA screen....
if it good for you ,i'll transate it in english:)
You need Tgetfiles(which is in the package...)
to enable sounds : options->sons->enable "emulation du son" and "synchro" YOU NEED QUIT AND RE-LAUCH SmartSNES....

Yep, I'm using PocketGBA as well with official 2700G support (not beta) and it's fast ass!:approve:
Definitely theee best GBA emulator out there.

PocketAdvance, to put it mildly, isn't the best (see for example the roundup of GBA emulators - it was written way before the 2700G-enabled PocketGBA! - http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/ind...&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 )

Go for PocketGBA. Do a generic search on it in both here in the forum and in my blog if you really want to know what it's capable of.

Yeah, I think that you're right :) We still got some bugs out there, but it's definitely the fastest GBA emulator and it DOES emulate sound very nicely :)

Believe us: all the otehr emulators are slower. I've thoroughly tested them all (read my roundup of them if interested) and documented the FPS I've got. PocketGBA was the best, even in the pre-2700G times.

Ok..I will try the latest release...but do anybody know if PocketSnes from Tala will be upgraded?

ehrm =D you were right - last release of PocketGBA is very great!!!! but I still dunno how to free up 32mb of memory oh...nope) i need to free up only 1mb...cause i can 31mb free up... I'm from Russia so I have language pack installed - do it take some memory?

I'm still in the process of experimenting which process to kill in WM5 while maintain stableness.
I want to try and run Quake3!

The ones in \Windpws\Startup can all be removed, but it won't result in gaining much memory. I've played a lot with this whil trying to make Q3 work; nothing worked.

I'll examine the RAM cache setting of the x51v and keep you reported.
