I purchased Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for my x50v running windows mobile 2003. I am having a few problems.

Firstly, my computer has a very difficult time reading the CD that came in the plastic case. Sometimes it reads and sometimes it doesn't. It varies depending on the CD drive that I am using.

Secondly, when I try to install it when I am reading the files, I get either an error or I get no response. Sometimes the error says "Application Manager cannot install this application on your mobile device due to an invalid setup file. Reinstall and try again."

Do you know what might be wrong? This is coming from a brand new CD. I have also tried my friend's x50v and am not getting any better results.

I don't know... I would take a video of it and sent it to Aspyr in the hope that they give you a setup to work with.

if the cdrom is scratched and that is why it is hard to read, try waxing the shiny side with car wax. it fills in the scratches and makes it more readable.

Try copying the installer from the CD to your hard drive. You can run the installer from your harddrive then.

Otherwise, I'd try a different CD ROM drive or asking for a different CD if you suspect its damaged. I'm not sure a Video would help Aspyr diagnose your problem though.
