uhm, why should we google for no$gba? It's a GBA Emu :P
I know the DS Emu but there is no chance to see one working for PocketPC devices for the next two generations as I guess cause the emulation needs more then 10 times the power of what is to emulate (so we barley can get an N64 Emu to work on PPC and it is not playable fast). Not to mention all the other values that have to be taken into consideration (e.g. that the next gerneration of PDAs can only handle around 20% more MIPS, not 50%)

I knew that there is support of DS >technology< but I thought you refer to http://www.desmume.com/ cause it was the first NDS Emu running some commercial games you mentioned. As far as I know it, the new version of no$gba doesn't play many commercial games (only selected) and you need encryption, but you were right, it IS possible since the new version, wasn't aware of that.
Anyway, this thing was discussed with DeSmuME before, so no change there.

I didn't think we were even that far.

Well, the N64 Emulator was a project about 2 years ago with a ported core but missing plugins (still, the games were "startable" (debugging), they got 2fps). So, even if it would had "worked", the power was and still is not high enough to come close to a full speed emulation of a N64 (if so, prove me wrong =) )
Sadly, the project died and the code got lost but the pic is not a fake
Another port was done with the TRWin Emu (Dell 400Mhz ran Mario64 at about 8fps best case and usually around 4fps) but this was skipped, too.
@kibbles'n'bits please read the posts more closely or use a translator if you are not a native English speaker, I said that I think that there is no chance to see (fullspeed) NDS emulation on PPC within the next two generations (and perhabs even later if they go on reducing MIPS etc.), the one I talked about is a PC program.
Nevertheless, it is/was tried to get NDS to work, even the two-cores can be supported but again, simply cause of the needed power, I doubt it'll work. Until I see it with my own eys ;)

.... 3D is no indicator for a good game at all if it's not made just for graphics (like sports games). Most popular Emulators are those for systems that never heared the word "3D" before ^^

why not just buy a DS? I brought one last weekend for £95 and its great, Emulation never works as well as the real thing. I love my x50v to bits and do use it for some games, but if you want to play lots of games then get some hardware that is designed to play games..
DS rocks by the way, and Mario Kart DS WIFI is ace!

I stopped counting the amount of games possible on my PocketPC through emulators at around 45,500... just as a note
