I was wondering whether one of you coding genius' could tell me if there was any way this game could be compiled for PocketPc.

I'm not a coding genius but I'm pretty sure games (and other programs) aren't just "compiled" for the PocketPC. They are mostly rewritten.

Looks like an addicting game though.

Change the SDL calls to PocketFrog or PocketHAL, do some tweaks for unicode and you should be pretty close to a compile for PPCs. I'm sure you'd still have to go through the source for certain calls that aren't supported by wm2003/wm5 but that's not a huge deal.
