Hi,
I just bought a dell axim x51v a few days ago (21.09.09) and I think it's the best pda I have ever been using so far (ipaq 3630, 39xx, hx 2110 and hx 2490 before). It's such a fast and well made PDA... Now I got a problem with Stuntcar extreme (accelerated version for x50v). I got the german rom a4 and tried to install the game to several places (internal mem., SD card,CF card), but, when tapping the program icon, it keeps telling me that it isn't a valid application and doesn't even start. Besides, it keeps ignoring being installed to a storage card, instead it creates a folder in main memory called 'buid in storage'. Copying the fathammer folder to a storage card doesn't help much, the problem remains.
Does anyone know what to do about it? I could use some help here, after all I am a complete axim virgin.

Well, i had no prob with mine on my x50v but this sounds pretty bad.
I guess you might be forced to check the registry with an app like this:

Look if you can find the entry where it saves the "where it's installed" path (every installed PPC prog has those entries so it can be uninstalled, although some do not use them in their normal routines). I always do that if a program goes in the memory and not on the storage, so if it's just a "misplaced" problem, this should solve it.

I have the same problem on my X51v - it originally ran fine on my X50v - but I get the same error as sevenoften7. I emailed fathammer and they have never come back to me. It's a shame because it's a good game - anybody got any workarounds ??

I have a x51v, I tested the stuntcar extreme ( not the accelerated version ), firstly using a A00 ( Portuguese ) ROM originaly installed in my axim, and occurs error during installation ( say that is not compatible ...... ), I recently install a A04 ( Portuguese ) ROM, this ROM is equivallent to A12 ( English ) ROM, because tha actualization in ROMs in other langiuages are slow. But the same error occurs during installation.

I successfully contact the Fathammer and the answer is that the game is not compatible with x51v, never more was sayed.

Anybody have a Accelerated version to send me ( alexdedalus@hotmail.com ) or post in rapidshare.com, for possibility to test in my axim ?

Several peoples say to me that exist the possibility of incompatibility dependly of the ROM and languages versions.

Tha DELL say that x50v and x51v is exactly the same hardware, differing only in S.O. and ROM size, only this !!!

Fathammer must be joking... This the patch was released many years ago...
Just overwrite the files with the ones in the package...
