DragonBall is an excellent (I'd say the best - see this roundup if you're interested in the alternates or if you want to know what Luxor and the closely related Zuma are all about) Luxor clone reviewed here.



Instead of the original $19.95, you can now purchase the great Luxor clone DragonBall for $ 13.96 right from the developer’s homepage. (Note that PocketGear sells the title at the original price.)

There has also been a bugfix release in the meantime (after publishing my above-linked review), bumping the version number to 1.02. Make sure you download the latest version if you haven’t already done so.

I enjoyed playing Dragonball. I purchased the full version, but it was kind of a let down when I got to the end (level 13) and the screen showed "Demo Version Complete."

I also had a problem at times where the background screens would be black, but I think that was just due to low memory on my device. After a soft reset it would be fine.

Any info on what the bugfix was for?

Did you contact the developers on this? What did they answer?

Don't really know. I've encountered a LOT of bugs in 1.0 (thgis is why I haven't recommended it back then); hope this bug has also been fixed in 1.01/02.

I didn't contact the developers. Pretty much forgot about it until I saw this. Might play it again with the update and if it happens again I will contact them.
