If you are still there, I think my problem are my sandisk new SD 256 card. I tried my CF-card. No problems. I tried another trial game. Same story. So am I one of all the other with SD- problems.
What should I do. Get another or will it work after a format?

We're still here. :)
Try formatting it to Fat32 w/ cluster size at 512KB. I use StorageTools by Softwinter. If that doesn't work, depending if it still works with other files, keep it and get another one.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Depending if you got it recently you may be able to return it for an exchange or refund. But if you had it for awhile and you had no other problems with it, you are better off with another card and basically just try to play around with the defective one (if it really is defective that is. :) )

Let us know how it goes afterwards. I hope it works out all right so you don't have to go through the hassle of returning it since it is still fairly new. :)

Well, I can see light at the end of the tunnel. After a format (nice little program the storagetool) I tried installing Fade again. This time without any trouble. Now I am going to install the rest of my programs and I think it will be without any trouble.
IŽll thank you all.

No go. When i tried to install Tomtom 2 an error come up.
After a soft reset the Axim suggested a format, because it was unformatted.

I will return the SD-card to the dealer.

Sorry it didn't work out Thomas. At least you found the problem now. Good luck, buddy. :)

After hearing about the problems with SD cards, it makes me glad I went with the large CF card. I hope you get everything worked out.

I also use CF card but I like to have my wifi in the cfport and then I thought it was practical with all my progs on a SDcard. It worked with my 32 SD card .

At least you got it working for now on that SD card until you can get yourself a larger capacity SD card. :)
