Question Rayman Pocket vs. Rayman Ultimate

For some time now I have wanted to buy Rayman Pocket, then
yesterday when I was tjecking where I could buy it, I saw a
new edition: Rayman Ultimate

I have tried both demoes but I'm still not convinced about
which game I should buy. Rayman Pocket is about 10$ cheaper.

Rayman Pocket:
Non-landscape mode
Add-on's can be downloaded for free!
Highly detailed

Rayman Ultimate:
Landscape mode (meaning better view)
Very nice graphic
True to the Playstation game
Also highly detailed

I can't decide!

Can anyone help me?
:crooked:

I've acutally bought both...

I loved Rayman Pocket... but Rayman Ultimate is way better!

In my opinion, it's the coolest game on the PPC-plattform, next to Snails of course.

Do you have Dell Axim?

I think the problem with Rayman Ultimate is that it is in
lanscape-mode. And when I turn my Axim around, the screen
can be a little flickerling to look at. I got the same problem when
watching DivX in lanscape. Maybe its because the screen only
update horizontal. Or is it just me?:rolling:

Yep, you are correct. However, ANY LCD screen will have the same characteristics as what you are experiencing....not just the Axim. I've seen many that are much worse that what the Axim shows up.

After playing the two demoes a couple of times I have decided:
Rayman Ultimate

It seems to be more worth the money because of the updated
graphic and the great sound. About the flickering I can live with it,
it only becomes visible when the screen changes from dark colour
to a light colour and vice verca. And that is rare.

Thanks for the info.

Ok, so I don't know what these "Snails" are. What kind of game is it? I have heard so much about this game, but I never saw any screen shot or any review of it.

Have you ever played Worms on your desktop? It's pretty much the same!
