I bought the game, and after a VERY difficult download, i got it on my X51V. Now im stuck in Barrockstadt because i cannot use the phone to call for help with the lock, nor can i simply put in the code on the console. I push the buttons for either and nothing happens. Has anyone else had this problem?
You tried the walkthrough or you think it's a bug? Long time not played here.
Btw, the second part of Syberia should be released in the near future, Tetraedge worked on it for some time now.

Well some reported bugs as I said before but I think some were able to finish the game and they cared more to port Syberia 2. Maybe you should sent again with some more details?

I'll give it a try. I have been stuck here for days. What's funny is that in this PPC version, one of the phone numbers is Tetraedge with a message about how they are busy creating great games and invites you to visit their site!
=) They really are and it makes me happy to see at least some lights in the darkness of development on PDA

I thought Syberia was an amazing game (now playing V2 on PC) but had to play it nearly twice over as when I got to the end, a screwdriver was needed which the game allowed me to leave in Komkolzgrad and then progress right through the game with no way of going back to retrieve it - very annoying - after using the screwdriver the first time I think it should have stayed with me or further progress should be not allowed until it was back in my possesion.
Also the game kept freezing on my X51v just as I entered the spa in the hotel. After many attempts I got past this though. Tetraedge thought I had a corrupt game save but it kept happening 2nd time round also. In spite of these problems I still rate it as one of the best games I have played on any platform and in a totally different league to Atlantis.
I'm currently supporting FPSEce to make Atlantis I (PSX version) emulatable on PDA. For me, this part of the series was one of the best and the resolution is really perfect on PPC but sadly, there are some probs with the videos that have to be solved. And the game has 800+ media files (as every move was made into video) and 4 CDs of like 600 MB each so this is a bit different to "small" Syberia ^^

I wish they would Port all of Microids, The Adventure Company Games!!
Such as The longest Journey, Dracula's Resurection, and Sanctuary, Jack the Ripper, Post Mortem, The Black Mirror.
These are really great games on the PC, and I highly recommend them to you all!!
I also really enjoyed The Longest Journey. As well as Keepsake, Aura, and an old favorite of mine, Sanitarium.
Syberia was great as well! Oddly enough, I've never played any of the 'Atlantis' series.
**EDIT** -- I should also mention that Aura was pretty pointless. The puzzles were way more difficult than they had to be. I don't really dig screwing around with puzzles in entire alien/made up written languages.

I solved this.
You don't need to use your mobile. Just click on message where the telephone number. It will give you the instruction how to use locks. Then go to lock panel (next to message board) and you will see that number are available now. Follow instructions and don't forgot to press "star" after your command.
I know what to do, I have the panel open. My problem is when i use my stylus to press either 42* or 41* NOTHING HAPPENS ... THE KEYS DON'T DEPRESS. I have reset my machine, I have restarted the game. Nothing works. I had a very difficult time downloading this game and was given an alternate site to download it. Could it be that I just have downloaded a faulty game?? This is so frustrating, you can see by the date, how long I have been struggling with this!:realmad:
Maybe you haven't done something else? I had no success to go in one place, but later when I solved other things this way became available and game continues.
Did you talk to boat owners? Did you payed them 100$. Sometimes you need to talk to somebody few times to have things unlocked.
I have talked with the boat owners SEVERAL times. I have paid them the money. The only thing that hasn't happened, is that I haven't heard the lecture from the professor or gotten the mammoth back, but I assumed that would come AFTER I got the locks taken care of.
I have played both Syberia I and II all the way through! Im SO frustrated!
