Hi there, I was wondering if there was an emulator which allows the use of four buttons on screen? I am currently amazed with pocketSnes and having a SNES in my pocket on my x51v but it requires all four buttons of the snes (AB XY) near my right thumb (using my left thumb for the D-pad). At the moment, only two of the buttons are mapped above the D-pad which makes it very awkward to run/hold things in mario world for example. Any thoughts?

Ah, no prob, it can be very confusing with all those versions... and I sometimes just forget that I spent many days to dig through all this stuff ^^

Same case with me , i tried the pocketsnes (1.12.200) which michu kindly gave a link to, but when i select the rom, it just displays the logo of the emulator. I will try and investigate further. I am running it on wm5 on a x51v. I have copied the .dll file provided into the windows directory too.
Ah well, there can be problems with SNES emulation under different PocketSNES versions, it's sad but true and you can not do much about this device specific incompatiblity... and n0p, the developer, has no wm5.0 device =(
Sorry guys, seems as if you have to roll back to the other emu

Right after we talked about it, n0p released a new version of his SNES emulator of which he thinks that it's now wm5.0 and VGA compatible. http://n0p.averest-k.ru/

Wow, great, it works fine in my X50v with WM5, in order to use it you need to be in qvga mode not true vga, in vga mode the onscreen buttons doesn't work and the screen flickers. :approve:
