Exclamation

I'm very excited for this game :)

Can't wait for your review David, get it up there asap!

Second, does anyone know what the multiplayer will be. I.e. just bt between close axims (useless) or multiplayer over the internet. This could very well effect rather or not I buy the game.

Argh! Physics dissertation getting in the way of real work. :)

I suspect multiplayer is going to be bluetooth only; Aspyr were pretty cagey about it when I asked a couple of months ago.

Thats too bad, the odds of me finding some one close to me playing COD 2 for ppc are..... quite slim. Can't wait for your review :)

To coincide with the PocketGear release, the PocketGamer review of Cal of Duty 2 has also been published - it's packed with screenshots and spans five pages!

Enjoy. ;-)

Impressive, I think it deserved a little higher though :|. Then again I haven't even played it, but i've never been so excited for a ppc game. On pocket gear btw it says that wifi multiplayer support is coming soon.

To tell the truth: me too. The problem was that I was "spoiled" by the desktop version. Compared to it, the Pocket PC version is, well, not really comparable.

heard it has a software graphics mode and hardware graphics mode (for supported device).

I wonder how we knows if our (X50V/X51V) is RUNNING the software graphics or hardware graphics mode?

It's not a mode, those are two different versions aren't they?
So you know it cause you purchased one of them

I don't think so. They only offered one download and the graphics looks great. Also, they claim it detects the acceleration. My question though is how to change out the icon which looks terrible. Also Michu, I'm new to the 51v and am wondering how to free RAM up on it. Thanks!

Well I read "hardware/software version" where I looked it up but if it's not version but mode, then it doesn't matter much either as auto-detect isn't something too problematic.

With wm5.0, they abolished the RAM managment bar (as they abolished the file storage RAM). There sadly is no way to free up as much RAM as on the x50v, you can just make sure that you have less programs running/autostarted programs on your device.

And all, please stop double posting or I'll simply close one of the threads ;)
