On pocket gear it says this about the multiplayer "Multiplayer over WiFi and mobile broadband coming soon". Does that mean you'll be able to go online and play other people around the "world" with it. Or does that just mean if you stumble upon some one with it you can go on wifi and fight them for 3 minutes while you wait for the bus .......

Not much is known yet. One thing is certain: you won't be able to play desktop players, ONLY Pocket PC opponents.

There is yet a good 3D FPS game that is completely multiplayer globally.

Supposedly Pocket Quake can work with multiplayer, yet only 5 golden gods have gotten it working.

Its a shame that only a handful of games are able to play other people through internet play. Multi player in a LAN setting sucks because chances of everyone having a PPC are rare, AND in that rare case chance they won't have the same game.

Me and my coworkers used to play against each other in Warfare Inc using wifi. And let me tell you, it works like a charm.

Interesting, I'll just "Assume" it will be, stay positive. I need something to do on my plane ride tomorrow, and the screenshots look pretty impressive.

eh if the game becomes popular enough there will be enough people to play with.

Have you tried DoomGLES? That's 3D accelerated and has multiplayer support.

I think it will be possible to play over internet, what else could broadband mean?

I like the game, but i find it very difficult to aim. Of course it is not comparable with PC.

But I have a feeling it will be similar to Warfare, which does work over the internet (with an IP address, and possibly router forwarding).

I doubt it will be like desktop games, where there is a game lobby, and you choose the game you want.
