Posting nonsense (usually just saying "bump") to get a thread back to the top of the list. Of course, he did it when it was only the second thread on the list and just 16 minutes after his original post.....not sure what he was thinking. :p

I also wanted to find out about police quest. I guess I should have edited the original post; but the truth is if my posts fall off the recent posts (on the front page) without being responded to. They seem dead in the water, the response time here is fantastic, so if it sits there I feel that it will never be answered...THAT is what I was thinkin, m'kay ;)
I guess what you mean by Wolfenstein is Wolfenstein 3D (Wolfenstein is a completely different game). In that case Doom or Quake would be worth trying (or so I've heard). I don't know about anything resembling the other two. If you like Police Quest you might want to try pocketSCUMM and play all the Lucas Arts classics or try Fade (an adventure game made for PocketPC that I've read many favorable reviews about). There are two DOS-emulators as well but I doubt they work very well.
That'd be really nice to see a FREE ! yes FREE ! GTA (Grand thieft auto) if someone could give us a link that'd be nice !

Silentknight Is it (doom) freeware? Do you have a link?which is better the original or 2? And whats a WAD? Thanks to smartpenguin, I'll make certain to avoid Quake games.
Dead to rights is a ps2/xbox/gc game 0.o no of course the ax (or any ppc) cant do that. I dont know of any that play like that either. Oh well.
btw, about doom- how? i followed the instructions (put the .exe of the shareware in a folder, bring the wad file into it, select the wad on startup), but everytime i start a new game, i can select level and difficulty, but then it crashes to the today screen
yea . they're both freeware . and both don't work ! the original (PocketQuake) had the background popup and everything then boom the error message came up !
