Icon3 n0p's PocketSnes vs Tals's OpenGL-ES PocketSnes vs...

Hello,
I 'd really like to know wich one is the best...

From many tests I did on x50v WM2003SE, I can say the following:
n0p's version
+ Seems to be fastest with Picard GAPI hack enabled
+ Very compatible with many games
- Sound sometime out of sync
- Sound plays with high pitch if set to STEREO
- Still based on 1.39 core
- Does not remember Roms path
- Strange problem related to GAPI

Sometimes the screen seems to be invisible and only when I touch the screen to put in pause it appears again. If I continue it disappears again....
I wish to discuss more deeply about this problem.
I really don't know but after I use other applications the problem goes away and randomly appears again... Even after a soft reset.. :exc: Could some one explain this behavior? Does the GAPI need to be resetted in any way before I start the application?

TALA's OpenGL-ES version
+- Good speed
+ Great Image Quality due to OpenGL filtering:approve:
+ Very compatible with many games
- Not as fast as n0p version
- Sound sometime out of sync
- Sound plays with high pitch if set to STEREO
- Still based on 1.39 core
- Does not remember Roms path
- Does not support Landscape mode

Other versions...

+ This One seems based on 1.43 core
- .....
I have to test it more

I use whatever is posted in the X50/x51v Accelerated Graphics list Sticky in these forums.

I never had a problem with it. Although I found that sometimes that if you change the sound settings, you'll have to either reload the ROM or restart the program for the sound to work properly with new settings.

I've found this problem to be in several emulators, even on the PC.

None of both work on my x50v, it is a known freezing issue that happens on a few Axim devices and no one was able to solve it yet or find the problem.

Sorry to thread-jack, but what's a good SNES emu to use on an X30 (624mHz, 64mb RAM)?

I think either n0p's port or the MorphGear SNES Module (freeware) should be used

I'm a software developer but I'm not good as PocketPC - OpenGL-ES coder... Perhaps someone (Tala, n0p, ...?) better than me could try to put these two version of PocketSNes together to make a super fast emulator with the best graphics...

By the way, does anyone know where I can find Tala's OpenGL-ES sources?

Thank You!
