Can't install Call of Duty 2

When I try to install it, it gives me a "device not supported" message. I know that other people have been able to run COD2 on their X5s, and I'd like to put my $30 to good use as well. Any workarounds to get COD2 to install on my Axim (400 Mhz, WM2003, MSAS 3.8 on XP Pro)?

I'll take a wild guess.j

Might want to check that you have plenty of memory to support that game.

check that your owner name is set to the code that the game gives you.

Manual install instructions:
Extract COD2SOInstaller.cab files somewhere (with WinRAR or similar program).

Common files:
rename LOCAL_~1.005 to local_release.pk2
rename MAPS_R~1.006 to maps_release.pk2
rename 0RELEASE.007 to release.pk2
rename 00README.008 to readme.txt

For Sofware 3D render:
rename 0000COD2.002 to cod2.exe

For Hardware 3D render:
For Intel rename COD2_G~1.001 to cod2_gles.exe
For Geforce rename COD2_G~1.003 cod2_goforce.exe
rename LIBGLE~1.004 libGLES_CM.dll

Copy the common files and the hardware or software specific files to a directory named COD2 on your device. Execute the "exe" file manually. I only tested the software 3D renderer so I don't know how the hardware files work. I suspect that libGLES_CM.dll is a common 3D file and you'll need it and the "exe" that is relevant to the 3D hardware your PPC has.

Tested on a Toshiba e350 OC'd to 400Mhz with software 3D in low detail mode. Runs fine but hard to play.
