Yeah, GBA Morphgear runs great on my X3 Adv set at Auto.

I got a steady 20-30 fps on most games.

when u play less-layer-rendering games (for example, metroid zero uses a lot of layers in animation) it runs quite smooth.

one thing i would advice anyone that plays graphic games, use an overclocking app and change your LMN settings from default 27/2x/2.0 to 27/4x/1.0 (still 400 Mhz, if you notice) you will notice a huge performance boost for games. even better if your device is capable of going 32/4x/1.0 (mine goes to 32/4x/1.5 - total comes to 708Mhz!) and all games runs sooo smooth. :)

I went to Morphgear.com, hit "Downloads" at the top of the screen, and then I think I downloaded the Windows CE and Pocket PC download. Now I have Morphgear version 2.1.0.0. What version is this? Is it the demo? What is the newest version?

I know that you can't share ROMs on this site, and I respect that, but would it be okay for someone to PM me or email me with a GBA ROM website? If not, that's okay, I am just wondering.

That is the lastest version. You have downloaded the 5 min trial version. It will alow you to play games for 5 mins, then it will stop. You need to purchase it in order to contiune using it.

Yes, it is now illegal to create or update GB(A) emulators.

However... the ones that already existed before this patent was filed are still legal :D

Dark archons are red...that one is just a regular archon. When i used to play (havent in a WHILE) that was what i favored. But not to take this thread off topic, i think that it is sad that emulators are illegal now. I always like trying out games like that before buying them (it is a great way). I think it would be really cool if they would legally release the first level of a game as a rom for emulators or something so you could try it out on your own before buying it. I hate buying games i know nothing about other than what people have said, i love trying them, and if none of my friends have it...

errrrrr, that patent is surely invalid. There have been emulators of hardware video game consoles since before November 2000 - prior art renders the patent invalid.

Whether any of the emulator makers have the balls / cash to take on nintendo when they try and enforce the patent is another matter, but I reckon it'd be an open and shut case....

i guess the only possible angle is that there were not emulators on PDAs and other "low performance" machines before then because they weren't powerful enough - that's very tenuous though, because you could argue that a PDA is exactly the same capability of a laptop of 10 years ago that COULD run the emulators available then...
