MorphGear?

I hear its not worth getting it and people generally but it down, however it plays nes, gb, and gamegear and master system near enough perfect with just 1 frame skip and sound. However this cant be said about Snes performance. But xscale optimization is going well also ppc 2003 support and optimization could make this a brilliant emu. IS IT worth the price and can u get upgrades free?

I personally believe it is worth the price and he gives discounts if you order more than one module. SNES is free if you have bought any of the other modules. And you do get updates for free. I bought it about a year and a half to two years ago, back when it was called PocketGB and have gotten every update.

the GBA emu is terrible... that's the only one i've tried though :P

SNES isn't bad if you just want to play RPGs. It probably wouldn't work too well for any fast paced game, though.

i downloaded MorphGear for free for my Pocket PC 2003 OS....is mine just a tester or something?

You can download it just fine. After 5-10 minutes though, it will quit and ask for a registration code. Or that is how it used to work, anyway.

Centerice could you please please please try a snes rom and tell us what kind of gameplay you get? Is it playable? Unbearable? Fps?

Im desperate to know if ppc 2003 increased performance at all.

From the quote on their website, it looks like these two modules are free. But like Raynne said, the other modules will quit until you enter a registration code.

I actually think morphgear is a rip-off because there are free emu's for most of the $20 modules that usually work better. The only good thing is the S...L...O...W... gba module, which most people use illegaly. With the money from just the GBA module, you could get some better games legally.

Yes, there are plenty of free emulators, but unfortunately, they all tend to abandoned rather quickly, and progress is sporadic. Whereas Aaron is continously updating MorphGear.

Yeah, but you still shouldn't pay $20-$60 for the modules just to use them illegally.

Well, there may be some people that do not use them illegally. There are some public domain ROMs. But I doubt that happens very often.
