Atomic Cannon

This game is the heat man. Very fun and addictive. At least the demo is. I want to get it, but I can't see spending over 10 dollars on a PPC game. What does everyone think of the cost of PPC games? To high or just right?

Ben.

Nothing is wrong with the cost. I've paid $20+ for PPC games as long as they're fun, and I don't think they're going to be able to be "overplayed". Like ZioGolf2 for instance....I've played over 1000 holes on it, and still not tired of it. I'd say I got my money out of it.

I think that a lot of the PPC Game prices are rather high, but I guess I can see where they are coming from. Most of the developers are small companies and they want to make money.

I think they're pretty much right on target. I've got no problems spending 15 dollars on a game. 20 if it's really good. If a game comes in at 30 though it should be the end all, be all. I've seen a few 30 dollar games but none met that criteria.

14.95 seems to be the average and that's more than fair.
Current setup:

I have to agree with deftech. I don't mind paying more $$ for games as long as I think they will get played.

I just posted this in a different thread....

After playing Atomic Cannon on my Ax today, I got nostalgic for the OLD game "Scorched Earth: the Mother of All Games". We used to love that back in university (back when Wolfenstein 3D first came out), and after doing some searching today I found a new 3D version of Scorch for PC. If you are interested, here is the link, Scorch 3D Website .
It is freeware, I have been enjoying it and wanted to share with anyone else who might remember Scorched Earth.

BTW.. paying $20 for a good game on my Axim is worth it. Right now I am trying out Monopoly, but at $30 US it will have to be REALLY good.

The price of PPC games is just right apart from a few examples of overpricing. 99% of games have demos so just check them out and then decide if you think the purchase price is worth it. Simple really.
Eagles may soar high but weasles don't get sucked into jet engines.
