PocketNester vs Morphgear

I was just wondering which one did NES emulation better. By better I mean good FPS and good list of compatible games. Thanks.

Well, under debugging stats for MorphGear, I get 60/60 (59) most of the time, with sound on. And as of yet, I haven't found an NES game that hasn't worked, but I've been mainly looking at the RPGs.

I don't want to go against the rules... I don't want a link or anything... just a yes or no.

Has anyone ever found a Guantlet NES Rom that works? I have tried forever to find one, and everyone I do I can't seem to get to work.

Just wondered as this is one of my many all time favorite games...

I don't want to go against the rules either, but ummm I'll say ummm there is a working version.

Ok so it seems like Morphgear is fine for NES emulation. How is SNES emulation these days? Dare I ask.

SNES games run great on the HP 2210 w/WM2003. I tried one out at the store and stuck in my SD card with PocketSNES and FF6. It ran the whole time at 30 fps, which seemed full-speed. This was without sound, however, as I don't know how to activate sound on PocketSNES.

With MorphGear, the speed is decent as long as you have sound turned off. Well, the speed is decent for RPGs like Final Fantasy. I haven't tried any games that actually reguire speed or a fast reaction time in order to play.

I have been playing games like punch-out and paperboy on PocketNester. The frame rate is usually between 29-34 with the sound on. These are more of the action type games that require quick reflexes and the emulator responds very well with little or no delay.

oK... well, now that I know that there is a working version of Gauntlet out there I will keep searching. Course if I could just plug my copy into my Ax (when I get it) then it wouldn't be an issue. Nintendo should re-release games on cf cards and release their own emulator... :hide:
