Emulator that plays snes games on ppc?
Anyone know if this is possible? IS there a emulator for the ppc that plays snes games?

Actually there are a couple... MorphGear is one.. it emulates a few different players...

Or you can try PocketPC SNES... just do a search under pocketpc+snes

you just need to find the rom for the game... of course, you cant use the rom legally unless you own the game

search google for snes roms

I tried pocket SNES on my 3835 and it wasn't even worth it.. I'd get like 0.25 frames per second.

Don't know how the faster processors handle it.

I have great success with NES emulater, and anything under it.

And they use the same ROMS that PC's use, don't go searching for PPC SNES ROMS.

I installed it on my 4350 and get full speed w/o sound. With sound, i get about 10-15 fps, which isn't bad. I will just have mp3's playing in the background so it won't be so silent

I'm NOT going to tell you where to find all the roms, you can do that on your own, but here is a good link to a few different emulators.

I will say this however, ALOT of the apple roms are public domain now, so it IS legal for you to play them. The console stuff however, is not.
