I guess that isn't as high as some people, and I was expecting higher on here.

I did it in one go as well, and wondered, hmmmm, I bet you can get higher, I just picked a colour, looked for 5 minutes, then worked out how to get as many of them togather as possible. I scored something like 900 odd in one pop.

1284 here. My current strategy is to pick TWO colors and remove all but those colors. I've come VERY close to having one color block complete and the second completed after the first is removed.

If I can do that I am hoping for a 2400+ score.

I've cleared the screen of all balls, but can't remember the score. I can tell that the bonus was not that great

My wife got 1308 after 114 games. We have a little competition going on... she's been bragging about her score for the past 2 days now. Its really getting on my nerves. But as far as I know, the only way to get a huge score is to concentrate on 1 color and built the largest link possible...

Haven't played for a while, but I used to play all the time. Played over 1000 games and kept the average over 750 in standard mode.

I agree that the really high scores are luck. Once I got good, I could score over 400 pretty much every time.

I think the key is patience. I always take time at the beginning to figure out which color has the most. Sometimes the first impression is wrong. Also, try to make sure that you can connect the blocks of color together. In other words, no columns that don't have that color.

There is a game that's even better for the PC, Palm, Dreamcast and Shockwave. It is called Sega Swirl. Totally addicting! It's free @ Sega Swirl. I only wisj they had made a version for the Pocket PC.
