Whats the best RPG on hx4705?

Anyone played any RPGs on their hx4705 yet? Any that stand out as somng the best? I've already played EverQuest (all 3 chapters) on an Axim, so with those beat, I'm looking for the next good RPG to play on my new hx4705. Suggestions? Why do you like what you suggest? ANy tips are always appreciated.

Legacy is pretty darn good. Have you tried that yet?

I played the Legacy demo and liked it well enough as far as gameplay and story went. The graphics left a bit to be desired (especially after seeing Everquest for PPC) so I didn't go on to purchase after I finished the demo level. I have completed all the Everquests (on my old Axim) and was concerned that since the Legacy graphics didn't look great on the Axim (QVGA screen) they would look really bad on the hx4705 screen. Have you actually run Legacy on the 4705? Does it look good? Play well? ANy other good RPG recommendations?

I notice there is a new (very large) RPG out called Atlantis Redux. Anyone played that yet? Is it any good? Does it run on the hx4705 okay? There is another, which says it is coming soon called Arvale that also looks pretty nice, but so far I haven't seen any evidence of an actual release date for this one. One last question, anyone know if there will be any more Everquest PPC chapters coming out? I really enjoyed EQ on PPC and would love to see new chapters come out for it indefinitely.

I'm not impressed with Atlantis Redux. Lots of puzzles that I just don't understand. I picked up Black Core Logic about the same time and I prefer that over Atlantis.

I know PDA Mill is going to be releasing an RPG here in the next week or so. The screenshots look great. I am looking forward to it!

I, too, have finished all of the EQ chapters...Sony, if they're not going to do anything more with it, should come out with a story builder so that fans can make their own adventures

I'm looking forward to Arvale - hope there's a demo to try (I like to see how things look on the 4700 before I buy) and if it looks good, that'll be my new game
Compaq C810 --> iPAQ h5450 --> Toshiba E800 --> HP hx4700

atlantis didn't even support vga- yet they touted that you can now take advantage of your nice vga screens... there's a disclaimer at the bottom saying that it would play in a fixed 320x240

Thanks for the tips

Thanks for the tips so far (by all means keep them coming!), I was getting close to trying out Atlants Redux but was afraid it wouldn't come close to living up to expectations. I may try out Black Core Logic and am looking forward to Arvale as well.

What about some other games? Anyone tried out Lemonade Tycoon? It looks interesting. I have Tower Mogul and like that but it doesn't hold my interest for long. One game I seem to just fall into whenever I play it is, believe it or not, Medieval Folk Healer (you can find it on Handango). It's a fun little diversion that can carry away some time if you let it.

How about Ultima Underworld? Has anyone tried it? Was it any good?

The "Sony should release a world builder app for Everquest PPC" idea is a fantastic one. I would love to see that. But I think the world builder would have to be on the PC, with the built worlds/games playable on the PPC to make it easier to build good worlds. I wonder how we can get Sony to run with this idea. If they did it well and we could make advantures on par with the chapters they sold for PPC, I'd easily pay $50 for it!

What about Fade or is that not the kind of game you are looking for? If only the game supported VGA!

Lemonade Tycoon is fun for a while. But once you get all of the upgrades it gets pretty boring pretty quickly. I haven't played in ages.

How does Everquest play on 4700 with SE_VGA running? I hate switching back and forth between true VGA and qVGA, and pretty much have no more reason to do so since there are enough true or compatible true VGA apps to get every job done by now.

I bought plant tycoon but I have really never played it. The reason I did is because they had a 50% off sale but my 3835 was in for service (when I knew I was buying the HX4700 but hadn't got it yet) and I decided to jump, even without trying it out. I also made a few other purchases at that time but I am not bumbed about the others as much (at all). I agree about Lemonade Tycoon. They should create a much more indepth game with a lot more upgrades and they should allow you to...I have a good idea--I come up with great ideas for games and programs all the time but I don't know how to write software for the PPC. I even posted a question asking for assistance in the developers corner but I don't think I ever got a response.
