Adventure Game Choices

I'm wavering between Atlantis Redux, Gilbert Goodmate, and Fade. The latter game looks a bit dark and "adult." (e.g., the screen shot of the lady that looks like fishnet). Any recommendations on a fun, light, and clean adventure game?

I like the looks of Gilbert Goodmate, it reminds me of the LucasFilms Monkey Island games. The Atlantis Redux has some incredible graphics, sort of Myst-ish like.

Can't beat the Lucas classics.

Inicdentally, there's a free scummvm emulator to play them on for PPC.

I would say Gilbert Goodmate fits that description to a T

I am currently playing Black Core Logic. That seems to be pretty good so far.
It's that time of year again. I need a new holiday avatar... Is there anyone up to the challenge?

The problem with emulators is the gag order on the source games. I have GB, GBA, and N64 cartridges. But threads discussing conversion get censored. The PC based stuff is also hard to find information. E.g., I have Escape from Monkey Island on CD -- how do I prepare it for the iPAQ? Do I need just the data files? Which are they? Do they need to be in a special location?

I also have a ton of Infocom games. I'm thinking of converting them to the iPAQ, but since they're text based, the typing will detract from the fun unless I use a keyboard. I have one, but it's a pain to set up, and you need a table to do it right. I prefer one-handed stylus play. Also, I don't have a 5.25" floppy drive handy, and some of these games are still in that format. Same goes for all the C64 games I used to love -- even if I might still have those around (doubtful).

This isn't as bad as you think. All the adventure emulators I've used (Level9_CE for level 9 games), pGit, pGlulxe, PocketHugo, PocketTads and ZipCE all let you tap words on the screen to enter them, as well as setting up many words/verbs on lists to insert, which removes the majority of text entry. It's certainly playable (I have dozens of adventures on my SD card, including most of the infocom classics )
PDA History: Sony Clie T615C -> HP Ipaq h1930 -> Dell Axim X50v

Let's face it guys, the IPAQ (my 4150 at least) is a dream come true for adventure game fans like myself. IF you haven't played all the Lucas Arts adventure games on there then shoo go away and come back when you have

Because they are awesome and work like a dream with SCUMM VM, if you have any problems setting it up then give me a shout
